The two of us met right before medical school. Prior to meeting each other, neither of us did any significant traveling. We both quickly realized how much we wanted to travel and experience the world. Although we were busy with our studies, we made sure each spring, winter and summer breaks we explored a new destination. We were always short on time (usually not having more than 1-2 weeks) and money.  But regardless, we always made sure the memories and experiences we had were unique and an adventure. We continued our travels through residency (training after medical school) and fellowship (training after residency). Now, as we are both building our careers in medicine, we continue to have restricted time but an ever growing list of places and adventures we would like to experience.

When we plan our travels, we always plan with time restriction because of our jobs. How do you travel to China and visit 4 cities in 6 days? It's not the most ideal way to travel for some and way too exhausting for most, but with little time and a thirst to experience as much as possible, we try to pack it all in. We hope this blog will help people who have full-time jobs and careers at home but have a desire to travel and experience the world in a restricted amount of time and/or budget.

This online journal has been long overdue... we hope you enjoy our stories about our travels and our life in between.
