Kenya, our first transcontinental trip with a baby. And boy, were we in for an experience of a lifetime. By now we consider ourselves pretty seasoned travelers. But traveling with a baby in tow is a whole different ball game. Overall, traveling to Kenya with an almost 6 month old was definitely doable, not as difficult as imagined, but still harder than traveling sans children.
Zambia and Sindabezi stole our hearts
People usually stop over Livingstone, Zambia for a quick trip to see Victoria Falls. While the falls is the main attraction of the area, it was the people and the Zambezi river that we unexpectedly fell in love with. With all of our travels, we can think of a handful of special places that we have stayed. Sindabezi Island is one of them.
Great White Shark Dive
Cage diving with Great White Sharks has been on our bucket list for some time. There are arguably three places in the world where you can see Great White Sharks pretty consistently; Australia, Mexico and South Africa. The first two locations require a great deal of traveling. It was a no-brainer that we would try to dedicate one day to drive 2 hours to dive with Great Whites.
