One of the best things about living in Colorado is there is always something to do year round. During the Winter, there are the obvious winter sports. Colorado is laced with amazing ski resorts and Vail (in our humble opinion) tops them all (with Steamboat Springs coming a close second, and without yet experiencing Crested Butte and Telluride). However, during the Summer, Vail becomes this wild flower, lush green mountains, a "river runs through it" WONDERLAND. Here is why we love vail even better in the summer.

In the spring shoulder season, we love hiking 14ers and snowboarding down! This season, we decided to tackle Mt. Sherman at 14,035 feet.
