Summer secret: Vail is even better in the summer!

One of the best things about living in Colorado is there is always something to do year round. During the Winter, there are the obvious winter sports. Colorado is laced with amazing ski resorts and Vail (in our humble opinion) tops them all (with Steamboat Springs coming a close second, and without yet experiencing Crested Butte and Telluride). Sibling adventure and new friendships: Summiting Longs Peak

Living in Colorado, not going outdoors is not an option. There is so much to do year round and so much beauty in the state that it would be a sin to not take advantage of our great outdoors. In the spring shoulder season, we love hiking 14ers and snowboarding down! This season, we decided to tackle Mt. Sherman at 14,035 feet.
